Thank you for answering my comment. It's hard for my to imagine that somebody who doesn't know me at all is spending time in order to answering me. But it feels so good- THANK YOU.
To be honest: I don't believe that I had to cope with such a big loss in my past like you did ( and you still have to stand it). In my case is it more a story of a lot of "smaller" losses and plenty of never ending failures. I should be embarrassed by mentioning my sadness here in this blog- especially after watching the pictures and reading about your story. And I really am embarrassed...-but even if I tell myself over and over again that there are many things to be thankful for, it doesn't work out always...
But I'll keep trying to find the way back into the light or to see that the cup is half full (Thank you, Floey.) I have to stop being "paralysed" and I have to start living again...even though I don't know how to do it...;-)...-perhaps writing these rows could be my little first step?!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
Warm regards,
Chris

After reading Christine's comment, I had this thought: it seems like maybe the turning point between dark despair and the light of happiness is when you can begin to see that your cup is half full rather than half empty.

I honor all the work you have done to get to this vista point.

Thank you Christine... I appreciate your very kind words.

Happiness of course doesn't happen overnight. It's been nearly two years for me, so I've been through that terrible dark part, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone... I remember it like it was yesterday, and it was a horrid place to be stuck.

I of course don't know about your past, but I do know that with time and hard work, grief passes on, and what you are left with is a fresh new life; a fresh new you.

That's impossible to see from the depths of despair, but when you finally see the light you will be so thankful that you stuck it out... Life moves wonderfully on. It's up to us whether we move on with it or not. :)

Wishing you the best,
Cary
