recent stock work

so as i mentioned recently, i’ve been shooting some stock photos, and mostly that’s been images of delectable looking (hopefully!) and healthy food. these are the two i’m happiest with right now (edamame and ranier cherries.)

technically speaking they were both shot in my bedroom, using a home-made light tent that i built from pvc pipe and tracing paper — I know, high tech! but the final product speaks for itself.11bowl-of-cherries3
i’m slowly learning my way around the pitfalls of studio-type shots, but it’s a really enjoyable process, and the challenge is probably what draws me towards it… i’m nothing without a challenge in front of me.

but then you already knew that.

The bowls and chopsticks are brilliant as well (not shown yet). You are really polishing up your style. Very nice!
