well, there’s been a lot on my mind these last few weeks, and i’ve come to the conclusion that some time out of town would probably be highly therapeutic for me, so…. i think i’ll be heading over to my sister’s place in Alameda for the weekend.

the heat & smoke from the california fires has kept me in the house every night this week, and to be honest i’m getting some serious cabin fever.

unfortunately, it’s literally been unhealthy to be out of doors, so i’ve been staring at the same four walls all week, and that’s about as much of that as i can handle.

should be cooler, and cleaner down by the bay, and it will be nice to spend some quality time with friends and family {oh, and see Hellboy 2.}

i hope to get some guitar playing in, some photography, some socializing, some sudoku at julie’s coffee & tea, and quite possibly to put those final finishing touches on a poem i’ve been working hard on all this week.

i highly doubt it will be published here, though, as it is simply too personal in nature.

anyway, i hope you all have a lovely weekend, and if you’re in california––stay out of the heat!

oh yeah, and to the dear friend i’ve been missing so much  “Hiiiiiii.”
